The infrastructure
Built on a premium backbone.
KTS delivers over a 100Gbps MPLS backbone spanning the UK: Juniper and Arista hardware, Tier 1 transit, peering at four internet exchanges and private interconnects with the largest content and cloud networks, reaching 15 on-net facilities in London, Manchester, Wolverhampton and Redditch.
01 · Backbone
100Gbps MPLS backbone.
A resilient MPLS network spanning the UK, built on Juniper and Arista hardware with multiple diverse paths and automatic failover. It is engineered to withstand any single link or equipment failure transparently, and to carry traffic far beyond normal load without strain.

02 · Peering
Internet exchange presence.
Peering at the UK’s largest internet exchanges in London and Manchester keeps traffic local and latency low, with private interconnects (PNI) to the networks that carry most of the internet. KTS peers as AS199649.

03 · Data centres
Four UK facilities.
Carrier-neutral facilities located for diverse connectivity, 24/7 on-site engineers and full redundancy. Exeter joins the estate in Q3 2027.
Wolverhampton
The primary facility in the West Midlands, directly connected to the MPLS backbone. Ideal for businesses in the Midlands corridor.
- N+1 power redundancy
- 24/7 on-site engineering
- Multiple diverse fibre entries
- Direct MPLS backbone connection
London
Low-latency access to LINX, LONAP and the UK’s financial and cloud districts.
- Connected to LINX London & LONAP
- Tier 1 transit connectivity
- Diverse carrier access
- Sub-1ms to major cloud on-ramps
Bournemouth
South coast facility providing resilient connectivity and geographic diversity from the Midlands and London sites.
- Geographic disaster recovery
- N+1 power & cooling
- Carrier-neutral facility
- Colocation available
- Connected to regional fibre networks
Exeter
South west facility extending the backbone into Devon and Cornwall, with diverse routing from the south coast and Midlands sites.
- Launching Q3 2027
- Carrier-neutral facility
- Colocation from launch
- Diverse fibre routes to BOU01 and WLVH01
- Pre-registration open
04 · On-net facilities
Fifteen sites, four cities.
The backbone is on-net in the UK’s principal carrier hotels and regional data centres. Every site offers MPLS, cloud connect, remote peering, IP transit, pseudowires and broadband NNI; colocation is available at selected sites.

Remote peering
Reach LINX, LINX Manchester, LONAP and GNM-IX from any on-net location, extending your peering footprint without a presence at each exchange.
IP transit
Low-latency full-table or partial transit in London or Manchester, blended across Tier 1 providers and delivered from the MPLS core.
MPLS & pseudowires
Point-to-point and multipoint circuits across the backbone, with pseudowires for transparent layer 2 connectivity between sites.
Cloud connect
Private, dedicated paths into the major public clouds from any on-net facility, bypassing the public internet.
Broadband NNI
Carrier interconnects for SoGEA and ultrafast FTTP, which is how KTS reaches every major UK access network at your address.
Colocation
Rack space with diverse power and fibre at the Wolverhampton, Redditch, London, Manchester and Bournemouth data centre sites, and at Exeter from launch.
05 · Protection
DDoS protection & IP support.
DDoS protection
Volumetric attack mitigation built into the backbone. We detect and scrub malicious traffic automatically, keeping your services online during attacks. Every attacking address we identify is reported to AbuseIPDB, the shared blocklist that networks worldwide draw on.
IPv4 + IPv6 dual stack
Full dual-stack support across the entire network. Native IPv6 as standard, with IPv4 addresses available on request for all services.
Watch the network in real time.
Full transparency on performance, maintenance windows and incident status, updated around the clock.
